Thank you to our sponsors, speakers and delegates for making the AVCJ Private Equity & Venture Forum \ South Korea 2009 a remarkable success.  This sixth annual event in Seoul was a distinctive gathering of the leading senior local and overseas private equity professionals, including GPs, institutional investors, corporations and professional advisers.

Mr. Scott Kalb, Chief Investment Officer of Korea Investment Corporation, provided insight on how Korean LPs view the international private equity landscape and what the opportunities in Korea are.  The Chairman of Oaktree Hong Kong, Mr. Ralph Parks, presented a statistical overview of the global private equity market under the current conditions and the attractiveness of investing in Korea.  And in his luncheon address, Mr. Tong-Soo Chung, Head of Invest Korea, KOTRA discoursed on the current status of the Korean economy and the prospects for foreign investors.
